Today's Digital Immersion Lesson

Today we had a learning session with Gary. Last week Gary taught us a new language, a language that only robots and computers all over the world can understand. This language is called Binary Language. We also learnt how to program a robot to move to one place to another.

This week we programed the robots to go to someone else's group and send them a message. The messages we had to use had to be appropriate. After a while of programing the robots we then used a different app to control the robot in order to do what you want it to do. The only boring part of it was not being able to make it send messages to other people. What we could do was make it spin in circles, moving it around and turning the flashlight off and on.

Room 10 Syndicate Assembly

                            
Yesterday Room 10 presented to us a dance battle for their Syndicate Assembly. The contestants in Room 10 were Kymani and Alamone, and the contestants in Room 9 were Iosefo and Peter. I think that Iosefo was very hilarious while he was dancing but it was upsetting that his partner wasn't dancing with him. At the end Room 9 lost against Room 10. Then it was the final dance battle against my class, Room 12. Pupuke did a good job for us but Peni let our class down so we lost against Room 10, but I think that next time will be better.
