I am enjoying taking my Chromebook home. I can use it for going on google and researching a lot of things that I really want to learn about. Sometimes I go on blog reading and blog commenting but we have a reason why we take our Chromebooks home. The reason is we have to do homework and spelling. I think my teacher has done a good job setting homework for all of us.
I am a Year 8 student at Glenbrae School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 7 and my teacher is Mrs Tofa.

Tonga is coming through
This term we are learning about Tonga. We have finally taken our chrome books home, and we had some home work which was a slide about Tonga and we are all in groups. We have to write about information on what you are writing about, and I was writing about Family,Life,Shelter and Plantation. Our group has finished it.This is a blog that i'm doing at home and I think it is better than trying to think what you wanna blog about before we go to school.

Malo e lelei... What does that mean?
This term our inquiry topic is on Tonga. Our teacher split us into groups of four, in my group was Jessica, Peni and joanlisi. But this term we are learning how Tongan people live. I learnt that Tongan people make their own things and in New Zealand we buy it from the shops. People from NZ also send money to their families in Tonga

The Strong Jonah Lomu
Jonah Lomu
Jonah Lomu used to be an All Black. Jonah Lomu was very good at playing rugby. Why? because he had a huge body and he was very strong. His coach was very proud of him.
